Rosemary O’Hearn, 96, of Fond du Lac passed away on Tuesday June 10, 2025 at The Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Waupun.
She was born on January 4, 1929 and was the daughter of Walter H. and Eleanor (nee Gulig) Krug.
Rosemary graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School. She worked at National Exchange Bank of Fond du Lac for 28 years.
Rosemary married Martin F. O’Hearn, Jr on May 22, 1954 at St Mary’s Church in Fond du Lac WI by Father Raymond Fox. She was a member of St Patrick’s Parish and later Holy Family Catholic Parish.
They had two loving children, Sheila and Patrick, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Rosemary enjoyed dancing, traveling throughout the US with her loving husband Martin, family, and friends. She enjoyed going to NEBAT retirees breakfasts and or lunch every month. She loved playing Old Maid with the grandkids, going out for steak at any nice restaurant.
Rosemary is preceded in death by her loving Husband Martin, and their loving daughter Sheila Radke, Rosemary missed them so very much every day. Also her sister Dolores and brother Dan preceded her in death.
Rosemary is survived by her son Patrick (Lynn), Grandchildren Joel (Ann), Brooke, Jacy (Nate) and Leah, Great grandchildren Martin, Grace, Amber, Laney, Nolan and Calum.
She lived independently until October of 2023 with the help of family and special neighbors. Special thanks to all who assisted her during that time!
Thanks to Prairie Ridge Assisted Living, their staff treated Rosemary like family. She was truly loved there.
Thanks to SSM Hospice, their care made her life and the families so much easier! They kept the family updated of how Rosemary was doing.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on June 20, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church ( 271 Fourth St Way, Fond du Lac) at 1 pm. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of service. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery & Mausoleum.
