Roger Clarence Sippel

Roger C. Sippel, 87, of Fond du Lac, passed away on June 15, 2022. He was born on February 11, 1935 in Eden, Wisconsin, a son of the late Marguerite (Lumblo) and Julius Sippel.

Roger was a barber in Fond du Lac for 50-plus years. He owned and operated Sippel’s Barbershop and Art Gallery. When not busy with a haircut, you would find him in the back room painting. He was a very talented artist.

Roger is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marilyn; children, Jeanne (Randy) Sabel, Susan Schoenberger, Sheila (Tom) Hanewall, and Doug (Heather) Sippel; 7 grandchildren, Ben, Emma, Jessie, Abby, Emily, Sam, and Marc; 2 great-granddaughters, Madelyn and Eleanor; in-laws, Wilfred (Ingrid), Dave (Jan), Tom (Roxanne) Braun, Barbara (John) Brown, and Bea (Dave) Meyer; numerous nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; mother and father-in-law, Leo and Frances Braun; sister, Marian Grahl; brothers-in-law, Charles Braun and Rodney Grahl; son-in-law, Doug Schneider; granddaughter, Megan Sager; and niece, Karen Lecy.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 1:30 pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271 Fourth St Way, Fond du Lac, WI 54937. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
