Robert Charles Gustafson

Robert “Bob” C. Gustafson, 68, of Fond du Lac passed away peacefully on Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. Bob was born in Fond du Lac on July 31, 1957, the son of Charles L. and Ann M. (nee Welsh) Gustafson.

After attending the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Bob was employed at the Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter for a number of years. Later he was the manager of the Good Will store in Oshkosh and then assistant manager at the St Vincent de Paul Store in Oshkosh before retiring.

Bob enjoyed drawing and was a member of the Art in the Park group. Bob also liked working with and training the younger workers.

Survivors include his mother Ann, sister Deb Wingeier, brother-in-law Bob Biondi, nephews and niece Brandon Wingeier, Leah Wingeier, and Jeremy Biondi, aunts Bonnie Narges and Betty Welsh, many cousins, other relatives and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his father Charles, brother Gary Gustafson, sister Glenda Biondi, aunt Donna Serwe, and uncles James Welsh, Gerry Serwe and Kenny Narges.

A Family Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum Chapel at Calvary Cemetery in Fond du Lac.
