Ralph Edward Stoffel, 85, of Green Bay, formerly of Campbellsport, passed away at his home on June 25, 2025, with his family at his side.
Born on November 6, 1939, in Campbellsport, Ralph Stoffel came into the world as the beloved son of the late Frank and Otillia (née Rohlinger) Stoffel. With a deep sense of duty, he answered the call of his country and served honorably in the U.S. Army.
On November 7, 1959, Ralph began the greatest chapter of his life when he married his soulmate, Ruth Urban, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. Their love was a true partnership—steady, selfless, and full of grace. Ralph and Ruth served together at Peace United Methodist Church in Green Bay.
Ralph dedicated his professional life to Schneider National, starting his journey on the road as a driver before transitioning to the corporate office, where he left a lasting mark. But the world was his playground. He explored with his family all 50 states and ventured across 37 countries, feeding his love of travel and his ever-curious spirit.
At home in Suamico, Ralph found joy in the simple pleasure of nurturing their yard. He was a passionate NASCAR enthusiast, chasing the thrill of the race across the country. But at his core, Ralph was a man of deep faith and unwavering devotion to his family.
He loved fiercely and wholeheartedly—especially his beloved Ruthie, their children, and grandchildren. A gentle giant with a heart as vast as his wisdom, Ralph had a gift for sharing life lessons that often felt like revelations. His radiant smile and kind nature left an impression on all who crossed his path.
Those Ralph leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Ruthie; two children, Ryan Stoffel and Robyn (Tim) Nichols; three grandchildren, Caleb J. Blake IV, Andrew Blake (Raelyn), and Elizabeth Nichols; his siblings, Frank Jr. (Donna) Stoffel, Katherine “Toots” Jungers, Donald (Eileen) Stoffel, and Tony (Pam) Stoffel; a sister-in-law, Genny Stoffel; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebekah Alice Stoffel; two brothers, Rolland Stoffel and Melvin Stoffel; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Jungers; his parents-in-law, Roland and Alice Urban.
