Peggy A. Cauley, 61, of North Fond du Lac passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2026 at SSM St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. She was born in Milwaukee on January 27, 1965, the daughter of Hulon Cauley and Evon Van Ornum.

Peggy was an ordained elder, she was the chairlady of the National Hospitality and Ushers of the UFCCM. Former member of First Church of FPD in Baltimore, Maryland.

She enjoyed crocheting and bird watching, but most important to Peggy was spending time with her family; her grandchildren were her life.

Survivors include her mother Evon Van Ornum, her children Krystal (Nathan) Abler, Paul (Ashlie) Merlin, Derek Pringle, Amber (Chris) Newton, and Dustin Hoerth (Cesily Keel), eight grandchildren Aaron, Jeremiah, Lucas, Isabella, Hali, Zayden, Korbin, and Clara, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Peggy was preceded in death by her father Hulon and grandmother Elizabeth Nitz.

A Celebration of Peggy’s Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Peggy’s name will be set up at Verve Credit Union.
