Obituary

Patricia Ales (nee McEnroe), 91, of Fond du Lac went to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 16th, 2026, at St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac.

She was born on January 24th, 1935, in Eden, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Florance (nee Fitzpatrick) McEnroe. Patty attended and graduated from Fond du Lac (Goodrich) High School. On March 23rd, 1967, she was united in marriage to William “Bill” Ales in San Diego. Patty and Bill spent 53 years in San Diego. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in San Diego and Holy Family Parish – Sacred Heart Church in Fond du Lac. After her retirement she liked to volunteer and spend her time helping out in the community getting involved in different organizations.

Survivors include children, Tommy (Terri) Hannon, Yvonne Sullivan, Karin (Tom) Wold, grandchildren, Chloe, Kendal, Ross, Todd (Monica), Matthew, and Kelly (Danny), her great grandchildren, Vincen, Tristan, and Jade. Her sibling John (Ruth) McEnroe and Patrick McEnroe. She is further survived by her special friends, Peggy and Colleen, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband William, her parents. Her siblings, Rosemary (Bill) Berg, Edward (Joan) McEnroe, Kathleen (Robert) Winkel and sister-in-law, Mary McEnroe.

Visitation for Patricia will be held, Tuesday, August 25th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church (200 S. Peter’s Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935).

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, August 25th at 11:00 am Sacred Heart Church (200 S. Peter’s Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935).

Inurnment will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Eden, WI following the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial.

The family requests that any memorials can be sent to Sacred Heart Church in Fond du Lac. The family would like to thank the staff at the St. Francis Home and the staff from SSM Health at Home Hospice.
