Norman J. Gudex, 95, formerly of West Bend passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Prairie Ridge ALF in Mayville. He was born in the Town of Eden on January 23, 1931, the son of Sam and Lorena Gudex. Norman graduated from Elmore Grade School and served his country in the U. S. Army from 1953 to 1955. He was a member of the Kewaskum American Legion Post and the West Bend VFW Post. He married Lois Dross on June 1, 1957 at Zoar Evangelical and Reformed Church in Germantown and they had two sons Jeffrey (Pam) Gudex and Jerome (Melissa) Gudex and six grandchildren Malie, Chloe Kyra, Leah., Samantha and Britny
Norman worked for the Town and Village of Germantown for 36 years. He was a wood crafter and enjoyed going to antique tractor shows. Norman liked to collect John Deere toys and had a lot in his collection.
Norman is survived by his son Jerome (Melissa) Gudex, grandchildren Malie (Alex) Mottet, Kyra Gudex, and Leah (fiancé Tyler) Gudex, great grandchildren Henry and Lucy, special daughter Brenda Kirchner, two sisters-in-law Beatrice Gudex and Lou Ann Gudex, nieces, nephews, cousins (Norman liked all of them) and many friends.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Lorena, son Jeffery Gudex, granddaughters Chloe, Samantha and Britny, three brothers Loren, John, and Sam, three sisters Viola Gellings, Marie Sabish, and Johanna Runge, sister-in-law Vera Gudex, three brothers-in-law Ed Gellings, Christ Sabish, and Gerhard Runge, former wife Lois Gudex, and special friend Donna Voigt.
Visitation for Norman will be Friday, May 8th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport.
A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the Twohig Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Keenan officiating and burial will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac with Military Honors.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff of Prairie Ridge Assisted Living and Aurora Hospice with a special thank you to Warren.
