Michael “Mike” Meunier, 86, of Fond du Lac passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center in Fond du Lac.

Mike was born on July 13th, 1940 in Milwaukee, the son of Julius and Lucille (nee Stoever) Meunier. Mike retired from General Electric Health Care in Waukesha after 25 years. While at General Electric Health Care that is where he met the love of his life Judy Ide. Mike and Judy got married on March 15, 1997 in Waukesha. After retirement Mike and Judy moved to Florida for 10 years. After 10 years in Florida the couple moved back to Fond du Lac area to be closer to the family.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years Judy, his children, Michael (Cheryl) Kemmerling, Matthew (Rose) Kemmerling, daughter-in-law, Dawn Kemmerling, grandchildren, Tanya (Michael) Herbert, David Andrews, Jamie (Nick Lewis) Andrews, Shane (Amber) Kemmerling and Cody Kemmerling; his great grandchildren, DeSean Kemmerling, Isaac Kemmerling, Luxe Lewis, Remi Kemmerling, Demi Kemmerling, and Henry Herbert and his brother Jeffery (Sandra) Meunier. He is further survived by other family members and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, along with his children Mark Kemmerling, Douglas and Pamela Meunier, and a sister Barbara Maunier.

Per Mike’s wishes a private family celebration will be held at a later date.
