Celebrating the Life of Lisa J. Benike
Lisa J. Benike, 60, of Campbellsport, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of profound love, dedication, and cherished memories. Born on May 11, 1965, in Fond du Lac, she was the beloved daughter of Richard A. and Theresa A. (nee Ullrich) Immel. On August 10, 1984, Lisa was united in holy matrimony to her soulmate, Scott L. Benike, at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Campbellsport, beginning a beautiful journey of over four decades of deep devotion.
Lisa balanced her life with a strong work ethic and a vibrant passion for her personal joys. She dedicated 32 years of loyal service to National Exchange Bank, working in deposit operations. Outside of work, she found her ultimate sanctuary spending time "up North" at the family lake cabin, where she loved boating and finding peace in her gardening. Above all, Lisa’s greatest joy was her family. She lived to support her children and grandchildren, never missing a chance to attend and cheer them on at their many sporting events.
Her memory will be forever kept alive by her beloved husband, Scott, and her devoted children, Katie (Andy) Gruber, Sarah (Luke) Immel, and Dakota Benike. She remains the proud and loving grandmother to Maustin, Madden, Sullivan, Harrison, and Edison. Lisa is also survived by her parents, Richard and Theresa Immel; her father-in-law, George Benike; her siblings, Tracy (significant other Fritz) Immel, Rick (Debra) Immel, Jodie (Todd) Rohlinger, and Emmy (significant other Bill) Immel, Brothers and Sister In-Laws Linda (Gordy) Lichtenburg, Jeff (Lynette) Benike, Mark (LouAnn) Benike, Gail (Gerry) Schmitt, Jim (Sandy) Benike; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends. She was reunited in eternal peace with her precious granddaughter, Madison, and her mother-in-law, Carol Benike.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 14th from 2:00 at 5:00 pm at St. Matthew Catholic Church, located at 406 E. Main St. in Campbellsport. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 5:00 pm at St. Matthew Catholic Church, with Rev. Mark Jones officiating. Inurnment will take place in Union Cemetery in Campbellsport at a later date.
Memorials are appreciated to Crown Her Courage (W2713 Century Dr. Campbellsport, WI 53010).
