Linda Margaret Calvey, age 80, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, at the Accent Hospice Care Center in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, surrounded by the love of her family.
Linda was born on June 5, 1945, in Neenah, Wisconsin, to parents Aleen and Kenneth Heinz. On October 1, 1971, she married the love of her life, Daniel Calvey, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Together they shared 54 years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, laughter, and devotion to their family.
Linda was a remarkable woman whose strength, wisdom, and warmth left a lasting imprint on all who knew her. She was a lifelong entrepreneur and the visionary behind the family's organic vegetable farm, Park Ridge Organics. Her creativity and determination helped shape the farm into what it is today. Linda also owned and operated successful hair salons for many years, inspiring countless stylists who learned their craft under her mentorship. Later in life, she became an outstanding real estate agent, helping hundreds of individuals and families buy and sell their dream homes.
Linda had a deep love for animals—especially horses, dogs, and cats—and treated them with extraordinary compassion. She was also a very talented baker and cook—creating dishes and desserts with love for those around her, even during times when she could no longer enjoy the food herself. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, generosity, and warmth. She also loved reading, especially books and magazines. Her devotion to all living beings and her nurturing spirit touched everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Daniel Calvey; her beloved children, Gregory (Deirdre) Calvey, Corey Calvey, and Robyn (Bradley Ryan) Calvey; and her cherished granddaughter, Frances. She is also survived by her siblings, Betsy Heinz, Cato Heinz, Jeni Meyer, and Tony (Kim) Heinz; her in-laws Mary (Charles) Mathers, Katie Mathes, Clem Kramer, Rita Heinz, and Pat (Stance) Berglin; along with many nieces and nephews who brought her great joy.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Aleen and Kenneth Heinz; her brother Mickey Heinz; her sister Marsha Paulson; and her in-laws Tom (Jan) Calvey, Karen (John) Nosch, Kelly (Eileen) Calvey, Joe (Peg) Calvey, Mike Paulson and Joe Alt.
Linda’s legacy lives on in the many people she inspired and in the memories held close by those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
