Laurie Lee Heimermann

Laurie “Skip” L. Heimermann, 86, of Campbellsport passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2026 at Froedtert West Bend Hospital. She was born on March 14, 1939 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Edward and Evelyn (nee Bergeman) Hubbard. On March 14, 1997, Laurie was united in marriage to Carl P. Heimermann in Minneapolis, MN.

Skip worked at Amity in West Bend for 10 years and then at the West Bend Company for 34 years; retiring in 2002. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, canning, and drinking a “Coke”. Skip and Carl also enjoyed their casino trips and going out to eat; Blanck’s was her favorite.

Survivors include her husband Carl, daughters Julie (Randy) Vorpahl-Voigt and Sandy Vorpahl, step-children Joseph Heimermann and Shelly (Joe) Schneider, daughter-in-law Carol Vorpahl, grandchildren Angie, Lisa (Gonz), Mandy, Chris (Kathleen), Stephie, Sky, Eli, and Hayden, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Skip was preceded in death by her father Edward, mother Evelyn Legge, son Jeffrey Vorpahl, former husband Charles Vorpahl, sisters Dorothy (Richard) Blondheim and Barbara (Thomas) Immel, and her dog Chloe.

Visitation will be Monday, January 19th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Road B, Eden.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 pm at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church with Rev. Mark Jones officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional service with inurnment in Orchard Grove Cemetery, Farmington.

The family extends a special thank you to the staffs of Froedtert West Bend Hospital and Horizon Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Fond du Lac Humane Society.
