Laura Ann Waldron

Laura Ann Waldron, 89, went to her heavenly home on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lomira. She was born in Wisconsin Rapids on March 29, 1936, the daughter of Winfred M. and Vera E. (nee Hague) Moon.

On February 27, 1954, Laura was united in marriage to Russell P. Waldron in Portage. She worked at Maysteel in Mayville for 36 years retiring in 2002. Laura loved to play bingo and her daily trips to Mountain Piggly Wiggly. She enjoyed feeding the neighborhood cats, her numerous excursions with best friend Karen, and checking out the race cars. She was a member of the Christian Life Fellowship Church in Mayville.

Survivors include her son David (Laurie Jo) Waldron of Waupun, daughters Charlotte (Dennis “Butch”) Wondra of Campbellsport, Dawn Margelofsky of Fond du Lac, and Laurie King of Grand Junction, CO, grandchildren Doug (Stephanie) Wondra, Todd (Carla) Wondra, Brooke Wondra, Nick Waldron, Sarah (Andy) Finnel, Amanda (Ken) Hrabe, Nicole (Michael) Griepentrop, Tyler Hafemann, and Trevor (Kaitlyn) King, 10 great grandchildren, sister Norma Riddle, sister-in-law Patrica Butch, other relatives, and friends.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents Winfred and Vera, husband Russell on September 7, 2007, sons-in-law Denis Margelofsky and Michael King, brother Neal and his wife Charlotte Moon, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Stanley Riddle, Muriel and Gordon Willman, Margie Cooper, Harold and Dot Waldron Griffen, and Joe Butch

Visitation will be Friday, December 19th starting at 1:30 pm at the Chapel in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum at Ledgeview Memorial Park, N6250 County Road K Fond du Lac followed by a short service at 2:30 pm. Entombment will be at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.
