Kevin Robert Kleinhans

Kevin R. “Kerby” Kleinhans, 55, of Campbellsport passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, December 10, 2025 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born on May 23, 1970 in Fond du Lac, the son of Forrest and Lila (nee Beisbier) Kleinhans.

On November 3, 2004, Kerby was united in marriage to Rachele L. “Shelley” Swartzel in Fond du Lac. Kerby worked in a number of different jobs but after a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis he turned to many things he loved to do. Kerby became a podcaster talking about comic books and started drawing comic characters, turned to caring for animals, and spent as much time outdoors as he could.

Survivors include the love of his life his wife Shelley, mother Lila, siblings Debra (Daniel) Mish, Dawn (Don) Nichols, Tammy Gorr, and Todd “Woody” Kleinhans, special cousins Tim (Cindy) McGray and Tracey (Scott) Gross, nephews and nieces Jason, Aaron, Erika, Amber, Rebecca, Adam, Arik, Josh, Matt, Chris, Andy and Holly, great nephews and nieces, God parents Georgia Petersen and Greg Beisbier, aunts and uncles on the Raymond and Beisbier sides, other relatives and many friends.

Kerby was preceded in death by his father Forrest, grandparents Clem and Mildred Kleinhans and Gregor and Marcella Beisbier, his aunt and uncle Beverly and Paul McGray, brother-in-law Robert Gorr, Jr. and aunts and uncles on the Kleinhans, Raymond, and Beisbier sides

A Celebration of Kerby’s Life will be held at a later date.
