Kenneth L. “Dingles” Zehren, 76, formerly of St. Kilian passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. He was born on November 9, 1949, the son of Leo and Madeline (nee Ruplinger) Zehren. On April 6, 1991, Ken married Christine M. Thelen at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Ashford.
Dingles worked at the West Bend Company for 43 years and also as a night janitor at Campbellsport Schools for 8 years before retiring. He was a very social individual; he would go for drives several times a day “to go see people” visiting friends & family. Dingles enjoyed his card playing groups, mowing grass at St. Kilian Cemetery, and his hunting group where he would make and serve his chili at the “Strawboss Tap”. He gardened and shared his produce with the neighborhood, and he especially enjoyed traveling in his gator and being the “ice cream man”. In his travels, Dingle’s theory was “You are never lost unless you are out of gas and money”.
Survivors include his children Stacey (Miguel) Murillo, Stephany (Adam) Hettwer and Marcey (Nick) Laudolff, stepsons Mathias G. (Julie) Thelen and Patrick (special friend Paulette Fellenz) Thelen, grandchildren Brianna (special friend Drake Demerath), Hailley (special friend Morris Artilies), Autumn (special friend Parker Smith) and Jayce Loof, Natalie, Ajay, Mason, and Tamra Hettwer, Brandon and Nicole Laudolff, Michaela (Tim) Hansen, and Hannah and Jon Thelen, siblings Tom (Diane) Zehren and Elaine (Charlie) Ertl, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Linda Zehren, Myra Zehren, Sister Carol Jaeger, SSSF, Gerald Jaeger, and Claudia and Neil Strassman, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and so many friends.
Dingles was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Madeline, his wife Chris who passed on September 14, 2021, his brothers Richard, Gary, and Larry, his Godson Kenneth Immel, and sister-in-law Barb Jaeger.
