Fond du Lac

Kathleen P. (Lukesh) Snyder of Fond du lac passed from life into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. She was the daughter of Walter and Pearl Lukesh, born March 31, 1937 in Milwaukee. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, and her husband, Nathan A. Snyder.

Formerly employed by Advocap in Fond du Lac, Kathleen worked with the homeless population, providing both love and support to many. Her generous spirit and caring heart helped improve the lives of many individuals. While Kathleen thoroughly enjoyed her work in social services; her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She was affectionately known as Grandma Tinkle Bug and Grandma Kitty, by her 8 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Kathleen loved to make crafts and bake with family. She was an amazing artist, sharing her skill of drawing and painting with others. Kathleen had a special fondness for her cats and showered affection upon many kitties in her lifetime.

Kathleen was a member of Toastmasters International, where she won numerous awards for her moving speeches. She was also a member of Ascension Lutheran Church of Fond du Lac. She is survived by her three daughters, Susan (Chris) Spivey, Cheryl (Tom) Kruncos, Joni (Jay) Wallander, and her number one son, Jeffrey (Linda) Snyder.

Additionally, she is survived by her 8 adoring grandchildren and their spouses: Michelle (Nick) Bierman, Michael (Megan) Milloy, Danielle (Tommy) Willey, Hunter (Audrey) Spivey, Clara Spivey, Madeline (Nathan) Spivey, Samm Snyder and Allie Snyder; and 4 great grandchildren Josselyn, Milo, Nathan and Zachary.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Eden Vista Assisted Living and the members of the Preceptor Hospice team for the loving care they provided to Kathleen and her family.

A Celebration of Kathleen’s Life will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church on Friday, June 27th at 10 AM.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Fond du Lac Humane Society.
