Judith “Judy” Margaret Bennot

Judy Bennot, 82, of Fond du Lac, entered into eternal rest on November 13, 2023.

Judy was born on August 24, 1941 in Fond du Lac, to the late Richard and Margaret Hessel. Judy spent part of her High School in Holy Family Convent. She spent time scrubbing bathroom floors with a toothbrush because she swore too much. Her wanderlust took her from North Fond du Lac to San Francisco to Rome (via Yugoslavian Freighter) working as an LPN. Judy spent the majority of her career at Nazareth Heights, caring for the Agnesian nuns. She met lifelong friends there in her colleagues.

She loved her three children but lived for her seven grandchildren. “Grandkids welcome…Parents by Appointment.” Judy appreciated a delicious meal and a perfectly crafted Cosmopolitan. Her superpower was how she made other people feel.

Those left to cherish Judy’s memory include her three children; Maria (Glen), Julie, and Bob (Michelle); seven grandchildren, Devin, Paul, Emily, Jack, Stuart (Cheyenne), Bryce, and Olivia; three siblings, Jan Dankert, Nancy (Gary) Adams, and Ron (Val) Hessel; other relatives and friends.

VISITATION: Visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Holy family Catholic Church, 271 Fourth St Way, Fond du Lac, WI 54937.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Mass will begin on Monday at 12:00 pm at Holy Family Catholic Church.
