Dale V. Grahl

Dale Vernon Grahl passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 88. Dale was born on August 4, 1938, to Wilbur and Florence Grahl of Eden. He lived his entire life on Dinnerbell Farms on Pine Road in Eden Township, where he was joined by his bride Ann (Lloyd) in 1961. They were soon blessed with a large family, many of whom worked alongside them nurturing and growing the family farm, now in its sixth generation.

Dale’s great passion was flying. He obtained his pilot’s license at age 37 and added a landing strip to the farm to make full use of his airplanes. Dale and Ann flew around the country to meet up with fellow members of the International Flying Farmers organization. Dale volunteered with the nonprofit organization Angel Flight, flying patients across the Midwest to receive medical care. He was also a long-time volunteer firefighter with the Eden Fire Department, serving as Fire Chief from 1991 to 2000.

Dale is survived by his wife Ann; seven children: Kevin (Julie), Kim (Robert), Julie (Gary), Jodi, Scott, Flint (Amanda) and Adam (Elizabeth); fifteen grandchildren: Aviva (Ben), Jordan (Lexie), Isaac (Anna), Jarrod, Noah, Elena, Brooke (Josh), Abigail (Chris), Samuel, Morgan, Eva, Maverick, Genevieve, Temperance, and Kinzie, and four great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Oliver, Marissa and Cannon. He is also survived by his sister Beverly (Zimdahl) of Eden. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Beatrice (Gorske) and Rudy.

Visitation for Dale will begin at 11 AM followed by service at 1 PM on Wednesday, August 19, at Twohig Funeral Home in Campbellsport with Rev. Mark Jones officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Eden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Shepherd of the Hills Parish or the Eden Fire Department.
