Fond du Lac

Cynthia “Cindy” Boyle, 76 of Fond du Lac (formerly of Niles, IL) passed away unexpectedly at St. Agnes Hospital on December 28, 2025 with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 20, 1949.

Cindy left behind a legacy of grace, kindness, and unwavering love. Born with a bright spirit and a gift for connecting with others, Cynthia was crowned Miss Niles in her youth—an honor that reflected not only her beauty, but the warmth and generosity that defined her throughout her life.

Above all else, Cynthia was devoted to her family. She was a loving mother, a cherished grandmother, and a steadfast sister, always ready with encouragement, laughter, or a gentle word when it was needed most. Her home was a place where everyone felt welcome, and her presence had a way of making ordinary moments feel special.

She moved through this world with a warrior’s heart and a saint’s grace. For years she battled storms that would have broken a lesser soul, yet she rose each day with quiet courage, meeting every hardship with a strength that felt almost otherworldly. Her spirit—unyielding, tender, and full of faith—now lives on in her children and grandchildren, who carry her legacy of perseverance in their own hearts.

Though her body knew illness, her spirit never bowed. She never complained, never asked “why me,” never let the weight of her suffering dim the light she offered others. Instead, she met every challenge with dignity, humility, and a gentle smile that told the world she was still fighting.

And fight she did—until the very last moment.

Her journey was long, her battles many, but her grace was endless. Her strength remains, echoing through the generations she leaves behind. Those fortunate enough to know her will remember her for the quiet strength she carried through every chapter of her life.

Her unexpected passing leaves a deep ache in the hearts of all who loved her, but her memory will continue to shine through the stories shared, the lessons she taught, and the love she gave so freely.

Cynthia’s family invites all who knew her to hold her close in their thoughts and to honor her by showing the same kindness she offered so effortlessly to others.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her 3 children; Kimberly Zernone, Leonardo Zernone, and Melissa Zernone; grandchildren Brianna (Dean) Schutte, Alexandria Dean, Nicholas Dean, Brooklynn Zernone, Jordan Zernone, Jason Benson, Joshua Benson, Ashley Benson; great-grandchildren Taleigha, Brynley, Gianna and Avery. She is further survived by other friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Arthur in 2006, parents Arthur and Annette Dvorak; her brothers; James, Donald and Gregory Dvorak.
