Constance Elaine Forester

Constance “Connie” Elaine Forester, 95, of Fond du Lac passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 29 ^th , 2022.  Connie was born on April 11, 1926 to Louis and Iva (Bernier) Schmitt. Connie graduated from Campbellsport High School in 1944. She attended college in Milwaukee for a secretary degree. On September 4, 1949, she married Jerome Forester.

Connie was always very active in her church and community. She was a devout member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #75 and the Daughters of Isabella.

Connie is survived by her son Jim of Fond du Lac; daughter Mary of Oklahoma; daughter-in-law Jackie of Fond du Lac; grandchildren Stacy (Ben) Humleker of Fond du Lac, and Rosie (Ben) Alsum of Cambria; great grandchildren Ava and Cason Humleker, and Brooks and Jacob Alsum; brother Bernie Schmitt of Green Bay; and many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband Jerome Forester; sons Jerry and Bob Forester; daughters-in-law Susan and Margie Forester; sister Rosemary Francis; brother-in-law Joseph Francis; brother Louis Schmitt; sister-in-law Margaret Schmitt; parents Louis and Iva; and step grandson Jimmy Scherschel.

Visitation for Connie will be Monday, February 7 ^th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave, Fond du Lac and on Tuesday, February 8 ^th from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth St. Way, Fond du Lac.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at Holy Family Church and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac.
