Charles F. Pelischek, 68, of Campbellsport went to his heavenly home on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at his home with his beloved family gathered around him after a courageous battle with cancer.

Chuck was born on April 8th, 1958 in the village of Oconto Falls, the son of Jerome and Helen Pelischek.

Chuck was a man of deep faith belonging to the Knights of Columbus Bishop Salvator Schlaefer Council 11301 and serving as Grand Knight for the past 3 years.

Chuck also volunteered as a crossing guard and worked at the organic dumpster on Saturday for the village.

Chuck married Sandy Kahut at St. Matthew Catholic Church on October 26, 1990; 36 years of making memories.

Chuck was employed at Stella Cheese for 9 years until they closed the doors, Precision Metals for 30 years, and the Campbellsport School District for 8 years til retirement in 2023. While growing up Chuck enjoyed playing softball, bowling, and coaching baseball and softball.

Chuck is survived by his wife Sandy, son Justin (Danielle) Pelischek, brothers Jeff (late Patti) Pelischek and Pat (Julie) Pelischek, sister Jayne (Tom) Wisse, sister-in-law Debbie (Bob) Reese, brothers-in-law Pete (Susie) Kahut and Roger Kahut, nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends, and his cat Oscar.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Jerome and Helen Pelischek, sister-in-law Patti Pelischek, and in-laws Art and Dolores Kahut.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 23rd from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 406 E. Main St. Campbellsport.

Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at St. Matthew Catholic Church with Rev. Neil Zinthefer officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Matthews Cemetery at a later date.

Chuck’s family extends a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Heartland Hospice, his fellow Knights, family, friends, and neighbors for your kindness, compassion, and care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Knights of Columbus, Council 11301.
