Carol Mae Clements

February 24, 1940 — October 9, 2025

Cascade

Carol M. Clements, 85, of Chinatown (Cascade) passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday October 9, 2025 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. She was born on February 24, 1940 in Sheboygan, the daughter of the late Clarence and Lucille (Beilfuss) Binversie.

Carol graduated from North High in Sheboygan in 1958. From there she went to cosmetology school in Milwaukee and worked as a hair stylist for a time. She also worked at Binversie’s Tavern, her father’s bar in Sheboygan for many years until she became the owner/operator of her own tavern, CC Suds. In 1984 she moved to New Port Richey, Florida to enjoy the warmer weather and the company of many good friends. After 5 years, Carol came back to Wisconsin to be closer to her children. She settled in at Long Lake for the next 30 years. During that time Carol worked at Regal Ware in Kewaskum and Baker Cheese Company in St. Cloud. After retiring in 2006 she spent her time keeping an eye on the wildlife at the lake, lunching with friends, visiting her son’s cabin in the Northwoods, and spending time with her daughter.

Carol enjoyed salmon fishing on Lake Michigan, traveling with friends throughout the United States, and everything Elvis. She loved and cared for many dogs throughout her life including all of her granddogs.

Survivors include her daughter Carrie (Jay) Lindow, her son Curt (Lori) Clements, former husband Richard Clements, brother James Binversie, other relatives and many good friends.

Following Carol’s wishes there will be no funeral service.

Special thanks to St. Luke’s Medical Center for providing excellent care and comfort to Carol during her last few weeks.
