Camilla “Milly” F. Butzke, 103, of Campbellsport passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at Serenity Villa in Campbellsport. She was born on March 12, 1922 near St. Michaels, the daughter of the late Frank F. and Sylvia C. (nee Reis) Oetlinger. On October 21, 1944, Milly was united in marriage to Marvin A. Butzke at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee.

Milly and Marvin operated Butzke Sand and Gravel together for 45 years before selling the business to Baumhardt Sand and Gravel in the early 90’s. She also served as Town Clerk for the Town of Auburn for 36 years and on the Town’s election board. Milly had beautiful handwriting doing all her ledgers in long hand. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, going to their cottage in Crivitz, baking, the casino in Carter, and her Old Fashions. Milly loved her family and time spent with grandchildren and great grandchildren was very special to her. Friday Fish Frys were very important and gathering for family birthdays with Milly’s home cooked meals were always celebrated at Milly’s Home.

Survivors include her daughter Karen Kreif, grandchildren Christine (Brian) Weed, Cynthia Butzke, Jeffrey Butzke, Cathleen (Kendall) Schultz, Cheryl Scott, and Nick Kreif, her namesake great granddaughter Milly Kreif, other great grandchildren, special companion Skippy, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

Milly was preceded in death by her husband Marvin on September 26, 2006, her son Donald, siblings Elwood Oetlinger, Lester Oetlinger, and Florence Metzter.

Visitation for Milly will be Thursday, February 26th from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane (N665 County Road S, Kewaskum).

A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm at St. John Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Eckert officiating. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery after the service.

The Butzke family extends a special thank you to the nurses and staffs of Serenity Villa and Preceptor Hospice.
