In Loving Memory of Angie Renee Greicar April 27, 1985 – August 5, 2025

With broken hearts and enduring love, we announce the passing of Angie Renee Greicar, who departed this world on August 5, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born to Neil and Claudia (nee Jaeger) Strassman on April 27, 1985 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Angie grew up playing outside, swimming and riding her pony. She was a 2003 graduate of Campbellsport H.S and earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Services from UW Oshkosh in 2007.

On June 5th, 2010 she became the beloved wife of Christopher Greicar. She had a deep sense of compassion and a desire to help others. That spirit guided her to working with dementia patients, autistic children, and as a paraprofessional at New Holstein Middle School, where she touched countless lives with her kindness, patience, and heartfelt encouragement. She loved to sing in the South Shore Chorale, craft, paint, sew, and travel. She always made time to plan summer adventures with her kids.

Angie lived with grace and resilience. Even as she fought the hardest battle of her life, she never let go of her gentle humor, her hope, or her deep love for her family. She showed us all what it means to be brave—not because she was unafraid, but because she kept showing up with love, no matter the pain.

Angie was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, a cherished daughter, adored sister and a beloved friend. She leaves behind her husband, Christopher Greicar, and their two precious children, Logan (12) and Cyrena (9), who were the light of her life and the source of her greatest joy and strength.

Angie is also survived by her parents, Claudia and Neil Strassman; her siblings, Glen Strassman, Margo (Lee) Goff; Nieces, Ashly (Andrew) Feustel, Caitlyn (Brandon) Young-Strassman, Lauralye Goff; nephews, James Greicar, Neilson Goff, Shawn Geicar; in-laws, James and Lynn Greicar; brother-in-law, Thomas (Carmen) Greicar; and a circle of extended family and dear friends.

She will be reunited in heaven with; her brother Randy Strassman; nephew, Cole Strassman; grandparents, Alvin and Cyrena Strassman, Clarence and Otillia Jaeger, Margret Greicar, and other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of Angie’s life will be held with a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 1 PM at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Ashford (1271 Minnie Lane) . Visitation will be from 9 AM until the time of mass, with a reception to follow.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the New Holstein School District staff and the Teal Butterfly (Ovarian Cancer Awareness) for their outpouring of love and support to Angie and her family. Also, the doctors, nurses, and staff at Kathy Hospice in West Bend.

Twohig Funeral Home is serving the family with online guestbook and condolences at www.twohigfunerals.com.
