Andrew "Andy" Hall

Andrew E. Hall, 76. of Lodi went to his heavenly home on Sunday, July 26th, 2026 at his home.

Andy never met a stranger and had the amazing gift of gab.

He was born on November 5th, 1949, to loving parents Loni and Leo Hall. He was raised in Campbellsport and graduated from Campbellsport High School 1968. It wasn’t long before he was drafted into the Army as a screaming Eagle. He served our Country in the 101st Airborne from 1969-1971 and was stationed in Germany before serving time fighting the war in Vietnam.

He earned a Bronze Star for his service and was a proud and humble veteran who loved his Country.

After his service he came home to a divided country and worked for PMI for several years. He was active in a motorcycle club and loved his many Harleys over his lifetime. He took a memorable ride to Angel Fire in remembrance of a friend he lost in Vietnam.

It wasn’t long before he began racing super Modifieds in Plymouth, Wilmont and Beaverdam Raceways during the 1970s. He was good at everything he did and gave it his all. Then he started his own archery shop in his brother’s garage, and it wasn’t long before he went on the road as a manufacturer representative from the 1980s-2000s selling archery equipment. His territory covered nine and half states for manufacturers like Golden Eagle and API tree stands among many other start up archery accessory companies. He enjoyed meeting people and never met a stranger and was well respected and loved by many. He participated in numerous sporting goods shows such as Gander Mountain, Bass Pro Shops etc. before selling his company and retiring.

But his life was just beginning. He became an avid Trap Shooter and loved the sport with the same vigor he had for life. He wasn’t just a trap shooter; he was a mentor, a teacher and supporter of the sport he loved most. From young to old it did not matter; he was always quick to give advice and offer support for anyone new or old to the sport of trap shooting. Even as he struggled with pulmonary fibrosis in his final days, he wrestled with oxygen tanks and tubing that we were always playing jump rope with. His final weekend was spent helping with a trap shooting event at the Sauk Prairie Gun Club. He spent his final hours doing what he loved and went out of this world on his own terms

Andy bought his first house in 1992 in Lodi where he resided until his passing. In 1996 Andy married Monica after they had met while she was shooting competition archery. This year they were blessed to celebrate 30 years of marriage. They enjoyed travel with their favorite trips to Alaska, New York City, Vietnam Wall Memorial in Washington D.C., Caribou hunting trip to Labor doré and many more. It was a wonderful life together and they would not change anything even though the last few years with Andy’s illness were the most difficult time of their lives.

He is survived by his wife Monica of Lodi, his siblings Joan (Dennis) Oppermann of Iola, Jean (Bob) Kleist of West Bend, Al (Ellen) Hall of Campbellsport, and Art (Mary) Hall of Campbellsport. Numerous Nieces and Nephews to Great Great Nieces.

He was proceeded in death by his beloved parents.

Thank you to Gunderson funeral home for their respectful care of Andy with a flag covered removal as a veteran. Thank you to Sauk Prairie Gun club members who have given Andy a hand over the past year with his oxygen tanks so he could still enjoy his time doing what he loved most, shooting trap. Thank you to Twohig Funeral Home in Campbellsport for their excellent care in managing the upcoming funeral arrangement and to Heartfelt Flowers in Lomira for putting together the flower arrangements.

St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 406 E. Main St. Campbellsport

Visitation 12:30pm-3:30pm

Mass of Christian Burial at 4pm followed by burial in St. Matthews Cemetery with Military Honors for those wishing to attend.
