Stanley J. Pers, 88, of North Fond du Lac died Nov. 11, 2007 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born April 26, 1919 in Chicago IL, the son of Andrew and Josephine Pers. Stanley was employed at Best Roller as a supervisor of maintenance and he retired from there. He loved to work on the side such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc. and fishing and loved animals. Survivors include his three daughters: Sandy (Dan) Collins of Waterford, Nancy (Mike Schodeberg) Schneider, Mary (Robert St. Mary) Pers both of Fond du Lac, 2 sisters: Helen Ninneman of North Fond du Lac, Sophie (Clayton) Breister of Fond du Lac, 4 grandchildren: Teresa Reszka-Arredondo, Michelle (Adam) Fletcher, Monica Schneider, Nick Schneider, 4 great grandchildren: Francesca and Isabella Arredondo, Kaitlyn and Emily Fletcher, and many other relatives and friends. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Kathryn and one sister Mary Sterholski. Funeral services will be held Wednesday Nov. 14, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Twohig Funeral Home in Fond du Lac with Rev. John Simon officiating with burial at the Calvary Cemetery.
