Elaine R. Hall, 86, formerly of Campbellsport died Wednesday Nov. 23, 2016 at her home in Fond du Lac surrounded by her family. She was born on August 8, 1930 in Waucousta, the daughter of Martin and Roena (nee Buslaff) Engels. On Dec. 27, 1952, Elaine married Gerald J. “Jiggs” Hall at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Campbellsport. She worked at Bauer Feed and Grain, St. Joseph Convent and the Campbellsport News before retiring. Elaine was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and enjoyed bowling and playing cards.
Survivors include her children Brian (Pam), Bruce (Connie), Beth Gellings, Brad (Linda), Blair (Joan), Brenda (Troy) Oestreich and Boyd (Bridget), 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, her brother Wayland Engels, her sisters-in-law Marie (David) Duley, June Hall and Lonie Hall, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband Gerald on Mar. 29, 2007, her daughter Bridget, her parents Martin and Roena Engels, her son-in-law Ken Gellings, her brother Wendell (Gertrude) Engels, her in-laws Mike and Tillie Hall, her brothers-in-law Barney and Leo Hall and her sisters-in-law Hazel Engels and Agnes (Roland) Baumann.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Nov. 26th at 1:30 PM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 406 E. Main St. Campbellsport. Rev. Mark Jones will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 26th from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at St. Matthew Catholic Church.
Memorials may be directed to St. Matthew Parish or Agnesian Hospice.
