Dorothy M. Bearden, 75, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Hope Hospice. She was born on December 12, 1942 in Arkansas, the daughter of the late Robert and Henritta Wills (nee Jordan). Dorothy worked at Marian Catholic Heights as a Nurse’s Aide for many years.
She loved going shopping for clothes and shoes. Dorothy was a very caring mother, was a good wife, great aunt, and a wonderful grandma; although she could be very stern.
Those Dorothy leaves behind to cherish her memory include her sons, Michael (Linda) Bearden of Fond du Lac, Norris Hart of Racine, and Victor Lamont Bearden of Arizona; grandchildren, Ebony Woods-Bearden, Frank Bearden, Victor Bearden Jr., Raven Bearden, Nathan Bearden, and Niel Bearden; 9 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 22 step- great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters, Betty Kennedy and Dolores Wills; brothers, Minor (Shirley) King, Johnny (Lucia) King, and James Edward (Kesha) King; her former husband, Nathaniel Bearden Sr., and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Nathaniel Bearden Jr. “Peanut” and her sister, Bobby Jean (Kennedy).
A funeral service in remembrance of Dorothy will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 12:00 pm at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac, WI. 54935. Family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.
Dorothy’s family would like to thank the Ladies on the fifth floor, Hope Hospice, and the Hospital Clergy for their care and support.
