Rachel Voeller

Rachel Voeller, 56, of Fond du Lac passed away Wed. Feb. 20, 2013 at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa. She was born on Nov. 29, 1956 in Port Washington, the daughter of Rochus and Shirley Rismeyer Voeller, Jr. Rachel was a 1976 graduate of Goodrich High School and worked as a CNA first at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for 20 years and later at Woodlands and Comfort Keepers. Rachel enjoyed working with children, spending time with her dogs and cat and visiting with her family. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Survivors include her nephew Chad Voeller and his wife Lynette of Brandon, her great nephew Alexander James, her lifelong friend and “sister” Valerie Duer of Fond du Lac, her good friend Barbara Kirst of Plymouth, her aunts and uncles Cynthia “Sister” Keller of Port Washington, Marion Rismeyer of Belgium, Betty “Musty” Bodi of Milwaukee, June and Donald Rismeyer, Charlotte Rismeyer, Donny Plier, Adrian and Pat Voeller, Joe and Shirley Voeller and Pat Voeller all of Port Washington and Al and Lois Voeller of Oklahoma, many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Byron, Rochus III “Rocky”, and Thomas, and her uncles and aunts: Eddie Voeller, Cliff Rismeyer, Louis and Betty “Musty” Bodi, Joe and Beverly “Lubby” Jovanovich, Roger Keller, Wally Rismeyer, Harold “Buddy” Rismeyer, Lloyd Rismeyer, Adriann Rismeyer, Janice and Eddie Beke, Raymond “Ziggy” and Jean Rismeyer.

Visitation will be Friday Mar. 1st from 5:00 PM until time of services at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 1600 S. Main St. Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be held Friday Mar. 1st at 7:00 PM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Rev. Matthew Guse will officiate and inurnment will be in Zur Ruhe Cemetery, Cedarburg at 1:00 PM on Mar. 9th with the family leaving St. Peter’s Church at Noon.
